Thanks for getting us started Dr. Tigerchik.

I'm still enjoying my downtime -- I swam 10,000 yards (mostly ocean), ran a little (mostly trail), and biked even less (mostly to wear my "Ugly Christmas Jersey"). It's been great and I'll probably do one more week just moving by feel.

Merry Christmas, Everyone!

It's pretty much a normal week here in the Cupcake Household. Last week went according to plan, which means one week down and two to go for a build block. Due to my father being lame, and his wife being even less desirable, we're spending tomorrow alone. I've got it scheduled as a rest day (which hooray), but other than that it's a KOKO build week of workouts.

M- 2000yd swim, 7mi run, strength (done. I forgot how insane the pool is with the kiddos out of school and doing twoadays)
Tu- rest
W- 70min Zwift, 20min run brick
Th- 2500yd swim, 50min run w/intervals, strength
F- 50min Zwift, 4mi run
Sa- 45mi ride
Su- 14mi run with some prehab work

Happy Christmas Dr TC - hope you have a lovely day. We're celebrating how we celebrate everything, with some good food and some nice wine and a workout or two :-)

My goals for last week were: XC ski in Lake Louise; swim x 2; trainer x 3; run x 2. I got all of that done and also a bonus XC ski on Sunday.

This week: swim x 2, trainer x 3 (one done), run x 2, XC ski x ?. I would like to run more but the XC skiing is still tough on my hip flexors so trying not to overdo it!

M: 4 mi run + 1425 yd swim
T: 6.2 mi run + 875 yd swim. Picked cousin up from college in MA, which was way fun
W: 5 mi run + 1050 yd swim
T: 4.3 mi run + 1625 yd swim
F: 12 mi run
S: 3.6 mi run + 2025 yd swim
S: 11.2 mi run

goals for this week: run like a person trying to get faster, swim a bunch... trying to get to 12k points on the Big Kahuna Challenge.
