Hey Womens, what are your races this year?
I realize during IMLP I had no idea who was doing the race. So, share your big and not so big events this year so we can all cheer you on.

Me:
Ultraman Canada Relay: Just did the run. Very successful I am happy to say.
Javalina Jundred 100K: Halloween weekend.

That's it except for a couple minor 5k and 10k races here and there.

I've got a few races left on my schedule:

Lake Stevens HIM on August 16th
Lake Stevens Oly in mid-Sept
Lake Padden Mtn Bike Duathlon in mid-Oct

If all goes well at LS70.3, I could be going to Clearwater, but we'll see :)

Sinister 7 - deferred to next year

BUT

as a consolation, I am doing my first tri (a try-a-tri....the bf admitted he insisted on this over the sprint partially b/c of my bike, but mostly b/c I don't know how to change a flat)!

Guelph Lakes II Try-a-tri, September 5

It sounds so sad in comparison but...

Trek Sprint Distance race in Seattle mid-September

This is going to be the first race since I apparently destroyed (aka - major break) my leg almost a year ago. Several surgeries and a lot of new metal in the leg. I just started running again about two weeks ago. If you call what I'm doing with the major limp and lasting only a block or so running (sigh!). I chose the sprint as I figure that push comes to shove I can swallow my pride and walk the run portion if needed. Trying to remember that my goal is just to get out there and 'participate' again and try to keep rehabing so I can put together some good races in 2010.

yeah, I was at the last friday night race. I didn't race, I just supported my friend in the mens' 3/4. The flyer said it was Womens 1/2/3. When I got there I saw they had a Womens 3/4 as well! I was pissed I didn't bring my bike and kit. However free tamales and beer....hm, I got over it quickly ;-)

I did ride the beg clinic on sat and my friend and I are coming back--both racing this time.

Have fun in Co :D

If you do come friday I'll be in a Pasadena Athletic Kit (black and red) and I have a 2008 Tk 2 :D

Wow, busy season for you!

All you Womens kick butt. I'm most impressed with the lineup of races on this thread. Whether short or long, they all represent a new challenge. I will revisit this thread to check in on everyone's results. No need to share times, just let us know how you felt about your performance.
