Dec. 27: How was your week?

I had a goal to get all my thesis data sorted/coded; I did some of it. Ran 7 times (6 days) for 40.8 miles; swam twice for a total of 3600 yds; lifted 3 times.

goals for this week - 3 swims, 6 runs, lifting 3x; yoga 2x. Finish thesis data!!!

maybe she's born with it, maybe it's chlorine

But off-season ends soon and I have high hopes for post-neuroma surgery run-training.

Last Week:
Sun - 2 hr. Trainer Ride (DONE!)
Mon - Run and Swim (DONE) Thx to my lovely bf pulling me out of bed
Tues - Bike and Strength (DONE)
Wed - Run and Swim (Run only... boyfriend got sick after running and I had to go with him bc he took me to the gym)
Thur - Bike and Strength (MISSED - HAD TO HURRY AND GET OUT OF TOWN B4 A HUGE SNOW STORM HIM)
Fri - hhhmmm... maybe a short run b4 we get on the road to head out of town (SWIM instead)....
Sat - OFF (It's XMAS!!)
Sun - 2.5 hr Trainer Ride (MISSED... Holidays flat out wore me out.. Family drama is sooo much fun)

This Week:
Sun - MISSED LONG RIDE
Mon - Bike and Lift
Tue - Run and Swim
Wed - Bike and Life
Thur - Run and Swim
Fri - Long Bike?? (Might b out of town.. Not really sure whats going on)
Sat - Short Run?? (Once again not sure what day I'm going out of town..)

Last week: - Run 6x, same distance, gotta keep focused on the challenge => Not quite, 5x running but with 68k of running. Small "d" done I guess ;-)
- Swim 1x, work/holiday/kid sked is not conducive for any more. -> FAIL oh well. ;-)
- ENJOY the time with family.

this week:
Enjoy time with the family
Run 4x, hit the 300k in Dec goal
Swim 1x.

Jan will be the start of the "January non-drinking and bike 1000k challenge" for me ;-)

Last week 6 runs, 1 trainer ride, core x3.

This week: 7 runs (1 double day), 3 trainer rides, pilates x3, core x3.

No coasting in running and no crying in baseball

I am training for a 50k in Feb and totally trashed the week with the combination of Christmas and the 5" of snow we still have on the trails. I was able to get in 35 miles over 5 runs, the longest only 11. I managed one swim and zero bikes. Ugh. Not happy with myself. This week all my kids leave for Chicago on Wed. I'm hoping to get some double workouts in on those days.

Apart from being ripped a wide one,

Last week: three 3-mile runs, one 1-mile swim, one hike, one zumba

This week:
Tue: 3 mile run; zumba
Thur: 3 mile run; zumba
Sat: 3 mile run; zumba; yoga

- 1 swim (already done) - WIN :p
- 1 bike - FAIL. zero.
- 2 core/strength - FAIL. lifted once.

between getting everything ready for christmas, the holiday itself and its aftermath (bought a new computer with xmas gift money, and have been setting it up and xfering files from the old machine), i've done sweet fuck all for workouts since last wednesday. i'm not doing one today, either - i'm going snowboarding with my honey.


this week's goals:
- 2 runs (wed & sun?)
- 1 bike
- 1 core/strength


no huge expectations. the time to really re-focus will be jan 4th.
