I actually took 1st (female) overall, 3 guys ahead of me at the HALF XTC (the short course), the awesome Melanie McQuaid won the long course.
I had a good race and it was really cool to win with a good lead over the next female (over 7 minutes) especially after coming 2nd overall (and missing 1st place by 6 seconds) at Lake Samish Tri on Aug 16...
