I am doing a charity bike ride for the American Diabetes Association. They put a lot of effort into helping find a cure for diabetes as well as promoting healthier and active lifestyles for those currently living with diabetes. I will be doing a bike ride for Tour de Cure which has a combination of those supporting people with diabetes as well as riders that currently have diabetes. My friend since childhood lost his wife to this disease last year and there are many others like her that have to deal with this every day. I participated in this event last summer, and will be doing so again this year on June 8th, and it really was the ride of my life and was great to see all of the people getting together for such a wonderful cause.
