I'm normally an anonymous slowtwitch lurker within the forums, but I just had to add some comments to this one. It's funny that this was just posted... I was getting ready for a long day of trains, planes, and automobiles... and I wanted to download a bunch of podcasts to listen to. I was pretty much up to date on the standard tri titles from competitor and IMTalk... and decided to branch out a bit.

The 2 guys that do this show have really funny banter, but done in a way that makes you feel like you're part of an inside joke... while still learning something from each show (at least the ones I've gotten through). The audio levels could use a little work, but that's part of the charm. The IM Florida Recap show is must listen. I wasn't sure if they were pro's or not... so I looked them up. Turns out both are Elite AG'ers.

Let's be honest, all of us on this site are serious Type A peeps, BUT no one wants to listen to a Type A person talk... especially on a podcast. I'm sure they both fall in this category, but you'd have no idea listening to them! Adam (I think it was him) recap of how he lead IM Florida through 1/2 way on the run got me so pumped up! I'll never be on the pointy end of any field, but something about hearing him describe it made me feel like I was there, and what it felt like to be there; very cool!

The contests are cool, but I really enjoy how they introduce the off the beaten path products (at least the ones they've spoken about so far)... the story around Gosh Products (I think this was the name) had me laughing so hard.

I was wondering why there was such a big gap between the show dates... almost like it was 2 separate shows... non the less, I like the new section/stuff the best.

Keep up the good work!

I just recently downloaded and listened to a couple of your podcasts during some indoor biking and really enjoyed them. Your show seems like it is really geared towards the FOP age grouper which makes it different from a lot of the other podcasts and I really enjoyed the interviews. Keep up the good work.

I just wanted to say that I'm enjoying the podcasts. It's good to hear a podcast directed at MOP to FOP athletes. There are a lot of podcasts out there by inexperienced racers who I don't feel are ready to hand out training advice yet and some of their advice is just plain wrong. You guys have a lot of experience and proven results and I really enjoy hearing your perspective, training tips, race reports, etc.

One bit of feedback I have is that I sometimes have a hard time hearing Adam, especially if I listen to the podcast while cycling or running. It's not all the time, but there have been a couple of episodes where I've struggled to hear him.

Great job. Keep the podcasts coming.

I agree. Great podcast (maybe some more short course stuff?) but the audio can often be up and down.

only suggestion I have is to be more consistent with 'tagging' the episodes. Some say 'scott and adam', some say 'Scott and Adam', others 'Adam and Scott'. You get the idea. Also, consistent episode naming format would be nice as well. I don't use itunes, so when I put the files on my ipod I have to search for different 'artists' and then the titles are all over the place.

But on a positive note I do really enjoy the podcast, and appreciate the time you guys put into it. Thanks!

Apologies Matt. I didn't know that had any effect. Can you look at the date you download it to make it easier to distinguish??

The issue is once they're loaded onto the ipod they're sorted by artist. No issues in finding the actual podcasts on my PC, just in finding them and organizing them on my ipod. May not be an issue for those that use iTunes, but I'm running Linux so I use gpodder to manage podcast subscriptions and gtkpod to manage my ipod.

I agree on this issue of naming. Without a consistent naming system, I lose the podcasts once they are on my MP3 player. I too don't use iTunes. I can end up finding them but it is a bit of a hassle if I can't remember which episode name was the most recent. And if there are multiple episodes on, I don't know (once the are on my MP3 player) which should be played first.
