Kingston Seymour Triathlon (Ideal for open water first timers)
Hello guys, We have a local event coming up soon. Well its actually on 22nd September in Kingston Seymour just outside of WSM.
Registration for the Kingston Seymour Triathlon is now open. Please visit http://www.kstri.co.uk for entry and full details. Hurry because as always in sprint triathlons spaces are limited.
The small lake makes it ideal for first timers in the open water style of event.
Cheers]
Alex

Yeah it is. I am a long time triathlete so have a bit of experience of how events run. I am also a MMA promoter so have experience in organising and running sporting events.
One of my gyms is based at the location and whilst walking around the fishing lakes with the land owner i saw a small unused lake. It got me thinking that it would be the perfect place for people to have a go at their first open water tri seeing as the lake is quite small (3-4 laps for 400m). Might take a bit of the worry away.
The cycle will link up with and do a loop of the Clevedon 10 mile TT course then head back to the lakes before the final 5.54k run around very quiet country lanes.

Its our first but we are hoping to run this once a year.

Cheers
Alex

P.S the website is also linked to my gym site http://www.teamsavage.co.uk which has all my contact details on it. Hopefully this will show people that the event is legit.
