The oldest triathlon in Australia (The Gulf Western Oil Nepean Triathlon) will be offering over $70,000 for its 32nd running. The race will be held on October 27 one week before the next biggest prize pool in Australia the Noosa Triathlon. The race is a " 1km swim along the Olympic rowing course, a 30km cycle followed by a 10km run around the 2000 Olympic lake" . “The race will offer a limited number of professional places". Yeah,saw that on Facebook today....I bet there will be some serious "negotiation" from he pro ranks to get involved with that race...Great news.
