Actuary?
I passed the P/1 exam in February. Have kind of been slacking off getting ready for the FM/2 exam and will not take it until October.
Any advice on job prospects? My plan was to start a more serious search after I have the FM/2 exam done.

Currently working as an Engineer (P.E. and Masters degree). Just want to do something different and this seemed like one of the best options that would not require any formal schooling (just self study).

What type of job are you looking for? Property/Casualty or Health/Life? Depending on where you live (or want to live) there could be many entry level positions. You could try DW Simpson http://www.actuaryjobs.com/, but they tend to work harder for people with more experience/exams. I found my first job and my current job on career builder. I got job offers after only passing one exam. Employers just want to see if you have the initiative to take and pass an exam on your own. You could also look and post on http://www.actuarialoutpost.com/. Let me know if you have any questions.
