Brooks Saddles

This is going to be a dumb question and somewhat odd for a triathlon forum, but I'm going to ask it anyway.

I've had some interest from some customers in having a couple of Brooks saddles in-house so people can borrow them and try them out. It seems like a nice service idea, but since Brooks seem to be known for having (needing?) a break-in, I'm wondering if it would be practical. If I loan a customer a saddle for a couple of weeks, are they going to break it in and ruin the feel for someone else, or does it not really matter? Maybe Proofide it and be done?

Do any of you loan out Brooks saddles to interested customers?

Also, aside from the B17, are there any particular models you would recommend?

Having owned and riddn others brook saddles I would suggest against a loaner program. They do take a while to break in so any testing would be lengthy and after the first customer the shape will change slightly and the next person will more then likely migrate to the position that the previous customer was riding.

Thank you for the thoughts. That's exactly what I was concerned about.
