What is this bike worth?
2002 trek 5200 56cm frame/fork with:
9sp ultegra shifters, 2005 10spd dura ace cranks and bb, new 9sp chainrings(200 miles), near mint dura ace 11-21 ti rear, 2005 chris king headset, dura ace narrow 9spd chain,
New 2006 bontrager race lite wheelset
New 2006 handlebar/stem and new tape/buzzkills
New 2006 bontrager race seat/race lite carbon seatpost
all the new stuff was stripped from a new 2006 madone 5.2 sl
I was offered this bike by a triathlete that is sponsored by a bike shop and he recently upgraded models. Most of the new items came off of his new bike, so they have absolutely no miles on them. The bike was his trainer and is in like mint condition, but has like 10,000 miles on the frame/fork.
any thoughts?
I have seen 02/03 models going for $1200 on ebay with original equipment. This has tons of upgrades compared to those bikes. Is it worth $1500 or more
