Pearl Izumi Viper shoes size 42. These shoes are run a little big. I usually wear a 43, but I had to take a 43 in the Pearls. This is their highest end shoe and retails for around $300. It has Pearl's dial entry and button exit system so they go on and come off fast, but provide maximum stability with the closure system. Perfect for Tri. PI shoe bag included.

I wore these only once and it was inside. I wore them for a study in pedalling dynamics at the Ball State University Biomechanics Lab. The test was looking at the dynamics and power in "heel pedalling." To achieve the "heel pedalling," two small holes have bee drilled into the sole toward the heel. These holes don't effect the shoe at all.
