yes, it is black, I can email you an actual pic first, if you'd like - it's not exactly like the picture in the link, I didn't have a picture at the time. I actually like it better than the tailwind cap, it just doesn't fit my fat head right. I ended up with two because I thought the first was a second, so to speak.
