Refurb vs new. Don't get me wrong, I would buy and refurbed one without question

Refurb are never the same it will break down on you the day after the warranty expires, I would buy it new

Not really looking to trade but I guess offers can be made.

I have a decent cockpit, cobra aero bars and base bar, 100mm k force stem , and dura ace 7800 shifters. Shifters have a little rubbing , chewing up on them also base bar has usual clamp scrapes. or I have dura ace cassette, rear der and front der along with another dura ace TT shifters. How about a 90's vintage cannon dale mountain bike frame set with stem and seat post?

Not that anyone knows me either, but I'm from Madison and can/will vouch for him as a straight forward, honest person. I would have no reservations buying from him...mostly because I know where he lives. But seriously, I'm confident if you purchase whatever he's selling it will arrive as described.

wow the price really has gone down. Makes me pissed I spent $600 on mine.

And you can get a refurb one from Apple for $349 now. Just about every single Apple product that I have ever bought (except iPhones) has been refurb. I've never had a single issue with any of them.

I feel sorry for the OP now. what was once a $500 pleasant surprise is slowly dwindling into a mere couple of hundred bucks acquisition : ( ............

Not a big deal either way. If I can get a reasonable offer, I will sell it. If not, I will just open up the box and use it.....

I would risk $275. Just what I am willing to spend. Understand if that is not enough.
