depends. if i had to take the hub out and rebuild the alps around a traditional hub, then i'd want to maximize the return, because i'd have something more salable. what i've got now is pretty specialized. maybe i'd go $750 for what i've got as is, but i'd probably need to get $1200 if i rebuilt the alps round a shimano or campy hub.
