The garmin varia mount, for which of the varia does it work?
Basically, I have the RTL500, which I prefer because it's horizontal. Whereas the new ones are vertical.
I just want to make sure that I can use this and keep the Varia horizontal.

I used it with the RTL510, the vertical one. That said, it's the same quarter turn faster and you should be able to use it provided the engagement ears are at 6 and 12 o'clock when the 500 is horizontal. The tabs enter at 3 and 9 o'clock (500 would be vertical), and are locked when at 6 and 12 o'clock after a quarter turn (500 would be horizontal).
