Like so many of you, our staff is working remotely for the foreseeable future. As the situation with COVID-19 evolves, we're taking every measure possible to keep each other and our customers safe. While that includes staying away from public spaces and social distancing, it doesn't mean we can't squeeze in a bike ride to lift our spirits. We are blessed and work a short 1/4 mile from our shop in the rolling hills of southern Indiana outside of the city and still shipping world wide safely FEDEX and USPS.
Staying at home for days on end can be taxing on the body and mind, and getting outside for a ride around the neighborhood, or your favorite trail, is a great way to clear your mind, breathe some fresh air, and get a bit of exercise.
Check for local travel restrictions as they are changing by the minute, but if you're able, a solitary bike ride can do wonders to ease the stress of times like this. When you do need to make a trip across town, consider making that trip by bike, rather than public transportation or ride share. It's good for you, good for others, and good for the environment.
As we adjust to this new normal, we believe bicycles can play an important role in bringing a bit of joy to our lives, bringing us together even as we are physically apart, and providing a safe means of transportation for riders all over the world.
