I have a 172.5 quarq s975 with either sram 50/34 or rotor 52/36 aero q rings. Its bb30, but i have the bottom bracket to allow it to work in gxp (that way you get the lighter and stiffer bb30)

I didn't think it was possible to adapt BB30 to a GXP frame. Could you send me a link to the adapter? I might need one for my new bike.

+1 -don't think it's possible to put a BB30 crankset into a standard threaded frame. Spindle is too short. However if you know of something, please share because I'd love to source some of those sweet cannondale SI cranks and install them in my steel roadie.

Only the other way around.....

The Quarq BB30 spindle is longer, it just has a set of spacers that make it fit the narrower BB30 shells. The BB30 quarq can be used on pretty much any frame (on a GXP with the Rotor adapter, on regular BB30 with the spacers, and on BBRight without spacers).

I have a Rotor 3D crank in 172.5 with compact Quarq Cinqo. $1100 + shipping. New, never used. 24mm spindle but easy convert to BB30 frame.
