This is a custom brake developed for the Felt DA. These offer more power and rim clearance. They are designed for modern wider rims. After David Millar rode his DA to a 2nd place at the world championships WITHOUT BRAKE PADS to avoid wheel rub Felt developed these brakes for athletes to aid in providing more clearance to the rim and adding a bit more power. They use linear, not coil springs and come with your choice of pads for alloy rim surface or carbon.
I sold all my DA and don’t need these extras. New and never installed!
