Road Bike – Eddy Merckx Titanium AX – 56cm

(made by Litespeed) ( about 5yrs old – I bought it in 2000)

Frame – brushed Ti – 56cm

Fork – Look HSC

Groupo – Campy Record 9spd. (170 crank arms) – Chris King headset (black)

Stem - Cinelli Grammo, 11cm - (Grammo, Cinelli's polygonal-shaped stem for greater structural strength, is made of titanium. It's machined from a solid block by numerically controlled machine tools to give profiles of differentiated thickness. The Grammo horizontal extension, in grade 4 titanium, has a box structure with crossed axis for greater strength. Welding is carried out in pressurized chambers in an inert gas atmosphere)

Bars – Cinelli Nerve -42cm

Saddle – Selle Italia – Titanium Flite (black - hardly used)

Just overhauled by bike shop – frame scotchbrited (the titanium looks like new but the decals are not in great shape – one taken off seat tube), new cables and housing, new bar tape (black) – new tubes and tires (Bontrager 23s) - wheels trued - everything adjusted and lubed.

Wheels – we have some options here – depending on price I’ll sell all, some or none!

1) Campy Vento – aero but heavy – 39mm deep – 16 bladed spokes

2) Mavic Open Pro on Record hubs – 36 round spokes, almost bomb proof

3) Campy Nucleon 22F/24R bladed spokes – black anodized rims

Also – separately or together, I have a set of Record 9spd 175 crank arms that I used for 3 Ironman races and a little training. They have 55/42 chain rings that I used for ONE race and, a Campy Chours botton bracket (111 – to fit the 175s onto the Eddy Merckx more easily)

Let me know if you are interested / have any questions and I’ll take some pictures if you’d like.

Thanks

bb
