Kudos to Dan and Tom for harping so much on fit

I was fit for my bike and it pays off nicely for me thank you.
Case in point if I ever needed to see one. My coach
does a once a week "turbo Clinic" for my club open to any member who signed up. All you need is your tri bike and a fluid trainer.
We had been going for close to an hour and we were in our second 10 min 80% effort TT on the aerobars when he walked up and pointed out the 7 out of 20 people who were no longer on the aero bars but were back on the hoods. His comment: see these people, everyone of them has a poor bike fit and thats why they aren't comfortable on the bike and it will cost them in a race. he showed me his notes on what he thought they should change and after the class he sat them down and made some recomendations.

But the best comment he made was: if you really want to race at a higher llevel you need to have a professional fitting done and the sooner you do it the better
