Quick: What's the field limit for IM Austria?
They are up to, like, over 1700 competitors and appear to still be taking registrations.

I am inclined to enter Austria as opposed to Switzerland since:

1. The registration link actually appears to work.
2. It is over a holiday so less time for me out of the store.
3. My buddy Deepak Patel, master on international race travel arrangements, already has a herd of yanks going and I can just give hm the Amex and tag along.

Anybody know the field limit? How does the bike course compare to Switzerland? Quick! I gotta do this today!

the limit is 1800

bike course (3 laps) has 1 hill with a very long descent - it gets very crowded and there are always very fast splits (if you go Sub 5 in Zürich, you go Sub 4:40 in Klagenfurt)

Nice place to holiday, Tom. I would suggest a hotel on thw lakeside but away from the rail tracks.

My race number was reported to me via e-mail as 1814. Interesting since the field limit is supposed to be 1800.
