An Independence Day Picture
I went to the beach about two hours before sunset with my two dogs.

People were kite flying, some kids were setting some spinning sparkler thing, some surfers, kids still playing in the surf, two very fit young women in very small bikinis were doing sun salutations, or something. (My dogs sniffed their dog's butt.) All of this happening at the same moment, and I looked up where the road passes behind the dune line--a truck, I assume, was going by with an American Flag such that you could only see the flag going by.

It was a real Norman Rockwell moment.

Sounds like this is the part of the picture you should have captured.

You know the slowtwitch rule: "Pics or it didn't happen".

Happy Independence Day.

God Bless America. It's still the greatest nation on this good Earth, warts and all:

STS-121 Crew: (Space Shuttle Discovery)

From the left are astronauts Stephanie D. Wilson, Michael E. Fossum, both mission specialists; Steven W. Lindsey, commander; Piers J. Sellers, mission specialist; Mark E. Kelly, pilot; European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Thomas Reiter of Germany; and Lisa M. Nowak, both mission specialists.
