Finally got my new Shimano Tri shoes and have noticed that I need to yank the strap well over with about 3in of extra strap past the velcro. Love the shoe but sometimes when I stand the strap hits the crank arm. Aren't we suppose to put the foot as close to the crank arm as possible? I'll probably cut the straps. This inboard strap design is good idea but am wondering if others have had this issue.
