I can't believe my eyes...it's mid-friggin'-March and it's snowing. Will my bike never again taste the sweet asphalt?! This e-camp is a great idea - I was even inspired to drag my sorry butt to the pool yesterday a.m. to get tooled on by my wife (she kicked 150's on the same interval I was swimming). Had planned a big CT session with Coach Troy but the quads weren't willing - guess yesterday's hard run took its toll. Oh well...here's how day 4 shaped up:

swim: 2300m - 23 pts

run: 5 mi EZ with the dogs - 20 pts

bike: 20 mi EZ/tempo @ ~200W - 20 pts

Net: 262

Day 4:
Swim: 3,000 at lunch - 30 pts.
Run: 7 miles after work - 28 pts.
Wife put the nix on the trainer ride after my run.
Total point for day 4: 58 pts.

Grand total through day 4: 229

I still was tired from the weekend, but the workouts went pretty good. This morning (Day 5) I feel not too bad at all.

"There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs." John Rogers
