I use Debi Bernardes & have had good luck so far. I think a "good coach" all depends on what you want out of the coach, how well you communicate w. each other & how much you want to spend!

Good luck - hope these help.

Gordo Byrn (geared towards pros - US$475/month but will refer to other
coaches):

I recommend Michael McCormack... he is very responsive and has a pretty unique training program which seems to work - (real test in three weeks at Forster). Get a lot of material and individual help for the price. Go to http://www.triathloncoach.com

Haven't used her but Robin seems like a really nice person so you could email her to figure out if it would mesh well

I use Don Fink (donfink.com). He's reasonably priced and very good
at setting up my schedule based around my schedule and making changes when necessary. He's one of the top masters triathletes out there (3rd In Kona this year) but coaches many ag athletes.

Check out his website.

There is a list of coaches here (many but not all):

Ask lots of questions and make sure you and your prospective coach are on the same page considering your expectations of a coach/athlete relationship and the coaches philosphy of training/performance.

I use Mike Plumb. I am very happy. As TriFilly mentioned I think it is important to find the coach that best suits you. I called around and talked to several people before I made my decision.

If you clickthrough the above link then you will find an article about finding the right coach for you. That might assist.

I work mainly with agegroup athletes that are seeking to be the very best that they can be. My current group of athletes consists of everything from 8.5 to 15.5 hour finishers. I work best with athletes that have flexible schedules and a passion to reach the top of their divisions (be it elite or M65-69).

I Second Mike Plumb. He's been my coach for quite some time, and I have no plans on leaving...unless he gets tired of me.

If you want more info, just email me. I'd be happy to give you some honest, detailed feedback.
