New show on HBO. Real life inside the ER in Baghdad at the 86th Combat Support Hospital (CSH).
Not for the faint of heart.
I'll second that. It brings back too many memories. I lasted 3 minutes.
......
Very powerful. Really makes you reassess things. Lots of memories.
Very powerful is right , one doc said his clothes were gone / tags blown off / no I.D. card . We gave him a number till we find out who he is.
One nurse was happy to send them off to Walter Reed or Germany . For minor specialty surgery " have a beer for me ".
They posted stories at the end , one guy came in after an I.E.D blew up his vehicle . They wrote he survived 3 more before finishing his tour.

Thanks for the reminder. It should be waiting for me on my TIVO and I predict a sleepless night. The only thing missing will be the smells. You never forget the smell.
I have never been that close. For me it's the voices talking to us in the air. one of the guys in the hospital that was calling his mom sounded like one i heard on the radio.
......
17 minutes and I'm done, for the night. It's time for a bottle of red and the fantasy world of "24". God bless the staff of the CSH

You made it much longer than I did.
