I had an old sleeve from a velotec skinsuit, so tried the suggestion above

I found it was again about 4-5 watts slower in my test, but i will caveat that i would have preferred slightly more consistent results across runs for both A and B, in my ABAB. Overall from the runs though I don't see any evidence to suggest it may be quicker than nothing at all.
