Do people consider Nolan Ryan an Astro?
If it matters, he grew up 30 minutes south of Houston.
Milwaukee has a good top two, but then you have to cheat and use packers to fill out the list:
Kareem Abdul Jabaar
Hank Aaron
Cleveland
Jack Nicholaus
LeBron
Otto Graham
Bob Feller
That’s pretty strong.
Ryan played for the Angels from 72-79. 1973 383 strikeouts two no hitters. They only had a winning record in 78 and 79. I remember a headline in one of the LA sports pages with the headline Ryan and Tanana and the rest are Bananas.
Astros 80-88
