What did I miss re: the comment?

Ironically the anniversary of the win was just 2 days ago.

I’m still slow, I thought too soon suggested someone involved may have just passed so I googled Dennis Connor and Bertrand and nothing.

I liked how the article referred to businessman Alan ‘Jones’

It was Norman who suggested to Smith and Carlos that they share the black gloves (hence the right/left arm salutes by Smith and Carlos respectively), and in solidarity wore an Olympic Project for Human Rights badge on the podium.

Norman remained lifetime friends with Smith and Carlos, who were pallbearers at his funeral in 2006.
