âŚ..I quit with them the day of the election in 2016 when they said Hillary had it in a landslide. I vowed that was the last time Iâd ever listen to a word they said again.
Iâm going to give you the benefit of doubt that you arenât a troll, despite you toeing the line pretty well. Thatâs in part to my daily interactions with people who really do think what you are putting to page. Iâll ask you the same I ask of them. How does one reconcile shunning the media cold turkey, in your case the day they got an election wrong, yet defend a career serial liar, champion of FYIGM, and counterfeit Christian? Those arenât myths MSM made up because they didnât like Trump as President. Those were known truths long before he came onto the political scene.
The media had been getting it wrong for a very long time. The 2016 election was the final straw for me. I voted for Trump, but did not like him at the time. I wouldâve voted for any one of the other 15 candidates on the stage. At the time I listen to Glenbeck, and he was very much a Ted Cruz guy, so thatâs who I was leaning for. It was very shortly after the election I began to change my mind. Trump was the first politician who said he would do something in the campaign, and then he stuck to what he said he would do in the campaign. Iâve never seen that before in a politician. But he wasnât a politician, he was a New York businessman. Now Iâve done a little bit of homework, and I see things a bit differently.
businessman is a stretch.
real estate developer, slum lord, harbinger of bad taste, failure. That's what DJ was known for since 1980.
Quote:
The three things that you mention, I know what two of them are, I donât understand the acronym, and it sounds Like the narrative thatâs been spun about this man for the last 6+ years. By the way, progressives and liberals love Donald Trump when he was donating to their campaigns and rubbing elbows with them at cocktail parties. The onslaught came when he declared himself the Republican nominee for president. I wonder what he knows about them that caused them to turn on him on a dime.
fuck you I got mine
That's the narrative that's surrounded him for yes, 6+ years. Specifically for 49 years. We've known DJ was scum since 1973, when he was sued for discriminatory housing practices. By the time of the election, state and federal agencies had filed over 4,000 actions against him. He over leveraged his Atlantic City hotels in the 80s and went bankrupt six times from 91 to 09. I knew he was a bad person in the 80s, and I wasn't even 10 years old yet.
No politicians love DJ. Before 2016, they loved his money. After 16, they loved his influence with the rubes.
