Another fantastic race today between the 3 amigos. Pidcock showed a lot of heart coming back time and again, but he's got no chance against the other 2 in a sprint. Gotta feel for MvdP with that unlucky mistake in the mud. Wout seems to be better on the long sprints which he showed today.

Jens was incapable of riding in a straight line. Which is why he won so many races solo as he was a nightmare to draft. TP is also a lousy draft, but for different reasons.

Speaking of fan zealotry, at Heuden-Zolder I enjoyed the commentary on the section of the course that fans weren't allowed on because it's "religoius ground." Fans? Absolutely not. 80 CX racers flinging mud around? Absolutely!

That rolling descent in Baal looks much more dangerous than the course at Val di Sole. The same solid wood posts that people complained about in the snow, but riders flail out of control on that descent in Baal in pretty much all conditions, not just the one off icy edition.
