The GOP isn't going to reach 67, even in the most optimistic scenario. And even if they did, there are half a dozen or so non-Trump GOP Senators. So no way 67 will vote to impeach happens.

But per your suggestion, the Nazi brownshirt method would be to take advantage of the rule that you need 2/3 of the Senators present, and 2/3 of those present are needed to convict.
So you only let the GOP Senators in the chamber while you keep the Democrats locked up in the basement. Makes it easy to get to 2/3. Then you impeach Harris and Pelosi.

I would guess it won't happen. There might be 50-60 GOP House members who really push for it. But I tend to think the adult side (if I use that term flexibly) wouldn't really want to go through with it. As sometimes Trumpy as McCarthy is, I think he understands the pitfalls. (assuming he becomes Majority Leader, which isn't a given).

Worse for the country or worse for the GOP? A President Harris would bring out the voters in the 2024, and high voter turnout more accurately represents the will of the people, which by default is good for the country.

Harris' numbers are worse than Biden's. If Biden is setting her up for the Presidency he is doing a bad job not that she is helping. Putting her in charge of solving immigration and border security was a no win situation. Many of her key staffers leaving because they cannot work with her isn't helping.

It looks like they moved her off immigration and back into the background. The recent immigration summit was a bit of a disaster with the presidents of Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala not attending. Exactly the countries needed to get on board with efforts to fix the problem. Nobody is paying attention right now because of the Jan 6 hearings.

If you are deep enough into the right wing echo chamber there are two things that are abundantly clear. First is that the Biden family are an organized crime syndicate. While Hunter gets all the press because he is a fool, it is Joe that is pulling all the strings. Second is that the 2020 election was stolen. You really don’t need to be that deep in the echo chamber to be inundated with all kinds of information supporting those two theories. If you believe that then of course you need to impeach. Better yet if you can impeach both Biden and Harris and get Trump (the rightful President) back in the White House.

It is very interesting just how much these two beliefs mirror the left’s view of Trump and his family.
