"underside" cable routing aero drop bar exist?
Is there an aero drop bar that routes the cables of any kind under the bar instead of inside? I swear I saw one once.

Like, a brake cable/hose would take the inside front curve at the shifter then down and into a channel under the bar.

I swear I've seen this but cannot find it. It may have been a "house brand" OEM handlebar for a Felt aero road bike or an Orbea aero road bike or something like that.

Otherwise, forget it. Just want to change bars but not super interested in a brake bleed just from this given is wireless shifting. Unless they sell bars where you don't have to clip the ends off the hoses at the shifters to fit them through the bar. I'd be down with that but highly doubt they make any that size hole there.

Not sure it if qualifies as aero, but maybe the ENVE SES AR? Appears to have a channel along the underside.

Also, the Vision Metron Aero appears to have fairly large cables holes.

Yoeleo H9 or H10 maybe?

I have an H9, the cable holes are pretty generous. If it didn't fit an olive through then you could probably file open the hole slightly larger.

The German one MTM posted above won't ship to the US.

For the olive thing, I read online the bleed is only required if you cut and install a new olive to route the cable internally. If the olive fits, you can disconnect and reconnect it without doing a bleed?

Is that accurate? If not the $400 Enve is probably the only option with an under channel in a bar that will go to the US.

I just may route the brake hose external inside front and bar tape over it.

The aero shape is mostly a comfort thing. I plan to ride this new cross bike a lot for training with gavel and just highly prefer a non rounded bar top for my hands. Aero be damned.

Given that, likely just some standard aero handlebar will do if I'm going to bar tape it anyway. Shrug.
