Pool Attire

Hey - any thoughts/recommendations on a swimsuit for lap swimming over the winter? I hate wearing one pieces so I would prefer a two piece/bikini style suit to do lap swimming in if at all possible - something that is reasonably athletic in style and wears well in chlorinated water. Thank you.

The only two piece brand I wear to train in is Jolyn. Same as any suit, rinsing with cold non-chlorinated water post-swim has helped with the lifespan.

I don't prefer to swim in two piece suits- but the advice I'll give is to make sure you pick one with a decent amount of top coverage in front (i.e a higher neckline and no scoop). Anything shaped more like a itsy bitsy triangle bikini piece you'd wear on the beach is going to be like a giant sail catching water in front as you attempt to swim. I speak from experience - I had a two piece in the bottom of my swim bag and had to wear it when I forgot my normal suit - it was awful.

Just with a quick search- these would be the type I think I'd go with:

Polyester is your best bet for fabric. I don't know if Nike or Speedo or Tyr make polyester two pieces but I'd look that way

maybe she's born with it, maybe it's chlorine
