Do any of these pros race Oceanside next weekend of IMFL in two weeks? I’d still love to see a Gustav vs Frodeno showdown. The fast IMFL course could still work, but I’m not sure how the two weeks in between canceled event and possible race would mess with race readiness.

This was my question. Personally, I’d like to see him do a more interesting course, but I’ll take a good pro field anywhere I can get it.

Iden just posted on IG “Let’s try again” with tickets booked to Panama,FL so maybe Ironman has already decided to move the Men Pro at IMFL.

Just saw a IG post from Pedro Gomes saying Florida will host the men’s field from Cali

IM app has both pro men and women for IMFL. Wonder how many will do that race or opt for Oceanside.

Yeah Frodenonmust be a bit pissee at his planning eight now. He can't stay for Oceanside a race he said he really likes. Damn!

Just interesting - I don't know what Gustav's ceiling is in short course but it looks like the sky is the limit long course.
Mikal is the Assistant Coach for the Norwegian Triathlon Federation.
This gets interesting with the apparent news that Arild is out and Olav Aleksander Bu is coaching Kristian, and how Mikal is referred to as Gustav's coach.
Interesting times ahead for sure. But I might have been on to something haha
