I bought a pair of Ryzon race socks. Padded on the bottom, super thin through the top. Extremely comfortable and breathable. Best race sock I have bought.

im a big fan of swiftwick. they are very comfortable and easy to slide on.

Another vote for swiftwick. I wear the aspire zero

After years of running in Wigwam they discontinued the one i liked and raised their prices so i moved to the Swiftwick Aspire.

Socks are as individual as anything.

I agree with this. Having said that, I've become smitten with Swiftwick Pursuits for their versatilty. They're wool and keep my feet dry, so good in sweltering heat and freezing cold. I use them for every activity in every season. They now have a thinner version if you like a thinner sock.

I like De Soto tri socks but I have also used the Swag socks I get from Kinetic Multisports.

Thanks everyone for your input. Looks like lots of good options out there. I believe I will be trying 2-3 different brands/pairs and then I will make a decision after trying them out.
Appreciate everyone's help.

Cheers!

I love swiftwick Aspire socks. Thin yet I don’t get friction blisters in long course, a little bit of compression, and they sell them in a variety of lengths. They are also my everyday running socks.

Ah, I thought that might be where the “Quinner” came from. I am Irish, same last name and Quinner was a go-to nickname.

Drymax has worked for me. I started wearing them after my first 70.3 race. My first race, I experienced burning beneath the soles of both feet do to some friction during the last 10k of the run. It was a very hot and humid day. Mainly no socks for anything less like oly's.
