Cycling in boise
I’m going to Boise tomorrow for a quick trip

Can anyone suggest a ride or two? I’m renting a bike, so I can get either gravel or road...

Ideally something 1-2 hours one day and ~2.5-3 hours / hilly on day 2

Stop in to the shop. In fact, they typically do group rides on Tuesdays. Think they started, but not certain.

This is what I’d do if I had a day to ride down there. 14.7 mile long climb gaining 3400 feet. Make sure you dress warm as the top will be a lot cooler this time of year

Paved potholes. It is the road to ski slopes and can get pretty beaten up over the ski season and last time I was up there repairs were not complete. Overall a solid climb, just pay attention as you go up for rough patches on the descent.

Thanks

Looks like I can’t actually find anywhere renting road bikes, so I’ll grab a gravel bike and climb it tomorrow and maybe Thursday morning too!
