Hoping some Iowa STers would weigh in here.
Going to be in Coralville over the next few days and will be able to carve out a couple hours each day to ride. Staying at the Marriott in Coralville. Hoping to find some decent rides to be able to access? Any advice would be appreciated.
1. Up towards Lake McBride / Iowa River Northeast of North Liberty has a nice loop around the Sugarbottom Park/Campground area. Attached a couple Strava Segments in each direction you could scope out and plan. Some good shorter hills for small intervals

2. Southwest of Coralville is a flat TT road that was always used for local TT's

3. A State Park with a loop used for circuit race I believe would be open to ride still on normal days

Prarie du chien to newport road to sugar bottom road to Mehaffey bridge road to Dubuque st is about and hourish loop from where you are at. Do it twice and you will get plenty of Iowa hills.
There’s also a group ride from College Green Park in Iowa City on T/Th nights. I believe it still leaves at 5:30. Don’t show up on a TT bike.
