Super League Tempe Postponed (again)
Athletes,

We unfortunately must postpone the 2021 event. We were told it could potentially proceed but with:

Waves of max 25
No Spectators
No Entertainment
No Fan Zone

This reality does not make this a Super League event and allow us to provide the experience expected by our athletes, partners and vendors.

We are committed to the event and have signed an agreement to be back in 2022 and 2023, we appreciate your belief in the brand and will work hard to produce the event in 2022 you all deserve.

"Super League Triathlon Tempe has been postponed until 2022.

Super League remains committed to providing a safe environment for all athletes, spectators, volunteers and staff and have made the decision to postpone the race scheduled for May 21-23 2021 in light of the continued restrictions due to COVID-19.
We appreciate the hard work and commitment by the City of Tempe and Tempe Tourism and look forward to races in 2022 and 2023.
We are working with all stakeholders to finalise a new date in 2022 and look forward to welcoming athletes and spectators to Arizona for a brilliant two days of Super League action once it is safe to do so.
All registered participants will be rolled over into the 2022 event free of any charges or moved to another SLT event if they so choose."

That's surprising the restrictions are still so harsh. Covid levels in Arizona have plummeted, would have thought they would be doing everything they could to bring back money into the city, especially considering they will 70.3 Arizona take place when the numbers were a lot higher.

That is such a shame and Mike Brown must be getting really frustrated with the number of races he has had to cancel or remodel over the last few years.
