Me either..... but I'd become so accustomed to this ridiculous situation that I now have trouble believing they actually did it at last!

Zwift released another update on 3/24, since then I am unable to launch a game. I can log in, select a route, then the game hangs on loading. Yesterday, I ended up having to reinstall the app then was able to launch a game but as soon as I tried to launch game this morning the same thing happened again.


I'm running the app on Windows 10 (Surface Pro 4).

Yeah, I've had nothing but issues running Zwift on a new PC laptop so have continued to use a 9 year old macbook pro (which runs it great... or as great as I need it to run). Its really quite frustrating thei inability to make meaningful updates and fix issues. Given i'm not using the world to do free cycles and only ERG workouts have been considering going back to trainerroad.

I assume you tried opening a ticket with Zwift?

I contacted Zwift, yes.


ETA: just heard back from a Zwift ambassador, "The Surface has been having issues with Zwift since the March updates. This is because of the Iris chipset. So far there’s no fix for this other than reinstalling each time you want to use Zwift. "

I am speechless at the moment, what a cluster over there at Zwift.

What Surface are you running? I've got it running on a Surface Pro 4 with no issues (so far)

Edit - I should learn to read. You said Surface Pro 4...

I briefly scrolled through the Zwift forum about this update. There are quite a few others experiencing the same thing. All that I saw where also running Windows but they didn’t all say on what hardware.
