Hey folks- I see some 3D printed mounts... and Bontrager's cage.. but why aren't folks keen on mounting with the included mount/bands?
Is there a concern for scratching with the rubber foot?
Who loves their setup for their cockpit and (larger) Garmin headpiece?

I think becasue most people want to use the BTA (between the arm) mount for water. That area is likely covered up by the bottle. I am trying to figure something out as well. I am using the mono spacer with zipp extensions and like the set up, but haven't locked down the mount yet with what I am looking to do. I ordered a mount from amazon with a bend in it, hoping that will take care of my issue with the extension and putting pressure on the bars and garmin unit itself (I don't want the garmin plastic attachment area to break).

I have SC, and use the Speedfil hydration system with the Garmin mount on top. It fits my 1000.
Profile Design has a new setup that similarly has a Garmin mount atop it that I use on my other bike
