I have an 11/28 road bike cassette on my direct mount smart trainer. I just bought a new MTB w/1 X 12 gearing. Can I throw the MTB on the trainer using the 11/28 road cassette? I just need the MTB to be stable so I can adjust the seat hight etc. It would be a 1st world problem solution if I can avoid swapping cassettes for this task.
