It's interesting and I'd like to know too. Ironman was very kind in working with me to defer my 2019 70.3 Campeche entry to 2020. In 2019 Covid was days away from curtailing travel and I opted not to go and take my family despite the race still taking place. Ironman made their Covid deferral announcement just days after. The 2020 event, however, is not happening. They informed me of that in January asking if I'd like to move it to Monterrey. The next day I emailed stating I would. However, 3 email attempts later, I've never received confirmation that actually occurred. So I've been questioning whether the even is still on myself. At this point, I won't go even if it is. Without confirmation, I haven't fully engaged race training and life circumstances have changed making it more challenging since. I'll update if they reach out to me.
