They don't come with rotors, they come with the wheels

They didn’t come with the Enve wheels I just bought 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'd ping enve, or wherever you bought them from, because they should have. I've seen them come with the wheels in a separate small parts bag and already screwed into the wheel.

If enve says you have to buy them separately, that would be very disappointing

I'm a fan of these lockings from Shimano. They have more clearance for the TA end cap compared to the second option. The install with a BB tool compared to the Freehub locking for the second option.

What does that mean?

I’m new to disc but I believe it means the axle diameter is 12mm and the width of the front axle is 140 mm and rear is 142mm

As far as I know, there aren't any front forks that use a 10mm diameter axle.

Shimano has a patent on the centerlock design and began enforcing the licensing on lock rings a couple of years ago. As a result, wheel manufacturers can't include them with a wheel purchase anymore without licensing the rights to do so from Shimano, and I'm pretty sure Shimano isn't actually granting these rights to anyone.

This explains why my bike with Sram disc brakes have a shimano centerlock ring! I was wondering what happened there...

If you're a small enough player, you can probably fly under the radar on the Shimano rights issue. Until you can't. The larger companies don't have this option.

Why did you say that the width of the front axle is 140mm?

When in doubt, with 12mm thru-axles, definitely go for option "B". Option "A" will not work with some fork designs that have tight clearance in the brake mount area. With bikes that have a 15mm front axle, always choose "A", as you won't be able to fit a tool in between the fat axle and the lock ring (unless your hub has pull-off end caps that you can pull off with the lock ring mounted).

Geez, it was a typo. Do you have any useful info for my question?

I will also say based on experience that option B has problems even with certain 12mm thru axle hubs. I have a set of wheels with with DT Swiss 350 hubs where option B won't work (I can't fit the tool) and a set of wheels with DT Swiss 240 hubs where option B is totally fine.

Definitely true, but as a general recommendation I still stand by option "a" for 12mm. In the few cases it doesn't work, you find that out really quickly when you just can't mount the darn thing. When option "b" doesn't work, well... I've seen a couple/few forks that had to be thrown away as a result. It turns out that folks these days more or less just assume that anything that is rubbing down around the hub area is probably their disc rotor, never mind that black powdery stuff that's suddenly coating everything...
