I see Hayden did a 13.29 on the track for 5000m.

Has any other ITU athlete gone faster? I think this is equal to Alex Yee's best time isn't it?

Hayden followed this up with a win in the Kinloch tri one or two days later.

What are the top 5000m times for other ITU triathletes? I know Kristian Blummenfelt tried to get a good time but was quite far off this from memory?

Also a minute faster than Lionel Sanders.

Yee 13:26

JB 13:46

AB (apparently he doesn't have an official 5k time I can find)

I *believe* Pearson from US is 13:36

McElroy 13:51

Brooks Doughtie, M.S.

The only time I remember reading about Alistair doing a track race during his ‘prime’ was the 10k at the Jordan Payton invite in 2013.

28:32:48 which converts to 13:41 using the Humphries calculator.

Plus he went sub 8 for 3,000m a couple of weeks ago, and just outside 4 mins for the mile the week before the 5,000m.
