So, I pre-ordered a set of HED Jet 9’s disc brake wheels. The shop I use said that the “stallion” build, which uses more spokes for heavier riders or those who train on awful roads, had been discontinued? That seems odd. Disc brake wheels may not need the extra spokes, but, rim brake wheels I would think could. I dunno? Anyone else hear anything like this?

Disc brake wheels need more spokes.
Stopping the bike from the hub through the spokes to the tire vs stopping the bike at the rim

Yeah, I re-read my post. What I meant was the disc brake wheels already have more spokes. 🥱🥱 time to call it a day. LOL
