Qualifying window for 2021 70.3 WC?

Does anyone know when the qualifying for the 70.3 WC in St. George ends? I'm trying to weigh some options for hopefully getting to a qualifying race, and entertaining the idea of the IM Foundation spots, which cost a bit more. The problem is that it seems on the IM website that after a race sells out of general entry (IM Foundations spots still available) they don't list any qualifying info. Without having to fly to a race I'm willing to pay a bit more for the race entry (looking at Eagleman and Musselman in particular). Thanks!!!

If my memory is correct, the races through June were qualifiers for the fall WC of the same year.

It usually says in the first page of the race description on the Ironman site. So, pull up the race you are interested in, and it should tell you how many slots and for which race.

Eagleman: "The 2021 IRONMAN 70.3 Eagleman will offer 60 qualifying slots to the 2021 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in St. George, Utah."

Musselman does not look like it is updated yet. But, looking at last year's info, the 2020 race was a qualifier for the 2021 WC.

Thanks!!! Eagleman looks like the choice, then.

IM foundation slot is double regular entry, but without flights or rental car can probably work. Hope for a better run than my last E-Man experience if I do it, Dale.

You’ll do fine. Paying more for stuff you want is the American way.

I think you’ve got a lot of the stuff you needed to figure out solved. I expect you’ll secure a slot. Too bad there are no hills in MD-your hilly bike prowess is lost. Better learn to love aero...and stay on top of hydration/lytes and nutrition.

May the gi tract remain quiet for the entire run!

I’m on the wait list in case PR 70.3 is yet again ppd (likely...)

Well shit. I deferred 2020 Atlantic City to 2021 Musselman thinking there would be slots for 2021 WC.
