I figured the swim was short. Looking through the results, one guy I know was way faster in the water than any of his 70.3’s

Round track. GPS reading shorter distances seems pretty common/expected. Doubtful that the course was effectively 6min short. So, good work!!

Looking at my Strava/Trainingpeaks, I would have been about 4 minutes longer on an exact, GPS spot on, course. I think the cooler weather and the Daytona Speedway energy added to the fast times. I actually missed my goal time and struggled on the run so I'm disappointed either way. Still a PR, even with the 4 minutes, but not what I was expecting.
