Mismatched forks on eBay bike.
I did my first 70.3 this year on a budget alloy bike but am wanting to go long next year.

I bought parts to build a TT bike off eBay but I have a weird query about a frame I bought.

The frame is a planet X stealth(TT) but it has the forks from a planet X pro carbon(road). The forks and frame seem to be the same model year. Stealth frames should be straight 40mm rake, pro carbons are curved 45mm rake and some aero profiling.

Questions:
1. Chances of this being original set up?
2. How is this likely to affect the bikes handling?
3. How would this affect the bikes safety
3. Would you remedy the setup, and how? I have very limited funds and can't find stealth forks anywhere

1. From what you post it's likely not original
2. 72.5° with 45mm rake and a 23mm tire will give you about 59mm of trail. It will be pretty good for a tri bike.
3. It's safe and in my opinion, ideal
4. Nothing needed
